KV Thuringia and gradient. started the project Rettungsdienst ( RD.net) last year. 47 Rescue service stations are already RD.net- equipped, more than 500 physicians are billing their operations by means of RD.net. KV Thuringia acts as provider and regulates the financial aspects with the Health Insurances.

The gradient. software is  based on the latest  technological development trends and enables  processing of the accounting records resulting  from rescue operations. The involved physicians are able to process their operations online in this way..

A validity check is integrated, like in other kinds of documentation, in emergency physician records as well. This avoids the billing of the incomplete or faulty records. The KV guarantees safety and availability of the billing information.
